The Student Loan Scandal

Students and parents should be up-in-arms over the cost of college.

Top to bottom reform is long overdue in the higher education system in this country.

Despite the "Go to College! Go to College! Go to College! No Matter What the Cost!" mantra of the educrats in Washington, D.C. and their corporate sponsors -- it is time for students and parents to consider ways to resist the never-ending increases in tuition and fees.

To that end, here is a very good web site run by a volunteer organization working for reform of the college student loan system.

StudentLoanJustice.org
Studentloanjustice.Org is a grassroots, citizens organization dedicated to returning standard consumer protections to student loans. The group was started in March, 2005, and has focused primarily on research, media outreach, and grassroots lobbying initiatives.
